We CAN make a Difference!!







'Studying Places' is a Fieldwork Project of the Social Studies Curriculum; Class V, through which students are expected to develop a sense of pride in ones place as well as an understanding of the citizen in sustaining and protecting the environment.
During the project students used primary as well as secondary sources to pick out all they see. They asked questions and sought answers. They were able to compare data to find interesting facts, differences and patterns.

Exclusive Interview







Dr. Jamil-Uddin -Aali , a famous poet and writer of our time spared sometime with students of class V from his busy shedule. The interview taken by the students was a great source of learning and understanding about Karachi in1950s and 1960s.

Land Use



Karachi is a mega city and the largest city of Pakistan.The population of Karachi is more than 14 million which makes the city over crowded. There are possibilities of getting good jobs so people come to live and settle here from other areas of Pakistan. The land used in different localities show a great variety; some well planned and some not. This in result, affects the environment as well.
